eCommerce Content Coordinator: Become the Newest Member of the Vans Family

In this role, the eCommerce Content Coordinator is responsible for the product set up, take-down and presentation on the site. You will support the eCommerce merchandising team to gather product content (images, copy, video and technical specifications) and be responsible for maintaining the upload and download communication. The eCommerce Content Coordinator implements and maintains seasonal campaigns and builds collections to support site merchandising and marketing.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Coordinates and executes seasonal load process for inline and custom products.

  • Creates, edits and uploads product information load sheets to product management system (IBM Websphere Commerce) for US, Canada and Mexico.

  • Maintains integrity of Product Catalog to ensure accuracy of product information and downstream system integrations.

  • Executes Merchandising requests such as hidden landing pages and search re-directs.

  • Follows up on necessary site updates stemming from Merchandising requests or customer service issues.

Identifies and suggests process improvement opportunities to support knowledge share with cross functional and cross regional teams. Tests site regularly to ensure content, products, links and services are up-to-date and the website is working properly. Actively participates in user acceptance testing for site enhancement projects. Communicates product deliveries and updates to the Customer Service team and Merchandising teams. Collaborates with eCommerce marketing to update marketing banners and ensure product links are functional.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 4+ years

Educational/ Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree (AA/AS) or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience with a CMS

  • Understanding of online technologies

  • Highly proficient and creative in Excel processes

  • Ability and willingness to share roadblocks, project status and new ideas

  • Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Willing and able to work additional hours when needed

  • Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs, depending on need
