Job Description


The function of an Inside Sales Representative is to generate sales by using selling and relationship building techniques within an assigned territory, via telephone and email. The Inside Sales Rep will meet or exceed sales goals for the assigned customer base. Some travel for sales meetings/trade shows is necessary.


  • Interacting with current customers and prospects via telephone and email to generate business, 80% of typical workday

  • Consistently achieving/surpassing qualified opportunity goals to ensure objectives

  • Become a trusted, credible resource and have superior relationships with current customers and prospects

  • Manage time effectively, meet business and outbound contact objectives

  • Provide closed-loop feedback for continuous sales and process optimization

  • Cross departmental collaboration with customer service, production planning, and other members of sales team to ensure the customers receive an excellent level of service


  • College degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Bilingual candidates are preferred

  • Sales training and Salesforce.com experience a plus

  • Proven track record of achieving measurable inside sales goals

  • Ability to learn, maintain, and present product knowledge

  • High level of integrity

  • Quick learner, goal-driven, resourceful

  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong email writing skills

  • Time and Territory management skills

  • Excellent demeanor and control when making calls

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
