Job Description

Responsible for digitally photographing assets in studio and outdoor/on location, both on-body and laydown, to be used for Wrangler brand and retail partner ecommerce, in-store and collateral materials including public relations, promotions and social media. Responsible for retouching assets and preparing them in final required formats for use online and print.

Responsibilities:

  • Digitally photograph apparel products in studio as well as outdoor/on location, both on-body and laydown, to be used for Wrangler brand eCommerce, in-store marketing and collateral materials including public relations, promotions and social media. Accountable for executing to style guides, and creative and project briefs while exercising creativity.

  • Retouching and color correcting images in preparation for use online, in print and large format. Execute clipping paths on images when required.

  • Execute brand look and tone in collaboration with the creative team and stylists. Work directly with brand marketing and art directors to establish ideal lighting, props and set conditions.

  • Ensure a high level of consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all photography created. Be a willing and contributing creative partner in the pursuit of excellence.

  • Contribute to studio project "kick off" meetings by providing creative and technical options including any pre-production test shots.

  • Consistently upgrade knowledge of industry trends and continuously work towards evolving both our creative aesthetic and improving our studio efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Years of Related or Professional Experience: 2 - 5 yrs

  • Experience in graphic artistry and photography

  • Experience with color retouching and correction for print and web

  • Experience with product and lifestyle photography and video for ecommerce, print and social media

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; photography-related program or training a plus

  • Apparel and lifestyle experience preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of studio lighting, product lighting, patterns, composition, color theory and video capture and editing

  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail, accuracy and schedules

  • Team player, but a motivated self manager with a strong sense of ownership who is comfortable working independently

  • Proficient and skilled in post production software such as Adobe Photoshop

  • Must possess a proven ability to work collaboratively as well as take direction as needed to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet all deadlines

  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as take direction as needed to meet needs of the Creative team and company

  • Efficient work-flow management

  • Knowledge and maintenance of equipment, ability to give equipment recommendations, and work within budgets.
