Vice President - Supply Chain - Jeanswear NA: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

For Wrangler and Lee Brands - Lead all Supply Chain activities to meet customer requirements; Support and set strategies for all activities related to Regional Demand, Supply / Source Planning and Inventory Management; Leadership of Customer service/Consumer relations functions; Establish control-related standards and procedures to achieve best quality, cost and on-time delivery to customers; Coach, train and lead team as well as develop succession planning at each level.

How You Will Make a Difference:

Functional Leadership:

  • Analyze, evaluate, and align demand/supply to service brand objectives

  • Coordinate through the sourcing hubs delivery of product in the most cost effective manner supporting Go to Market calendars and strategies

  • Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Regional Leadership to develop annual Operating Forecasts with Risk and Opportunity distinction

  • Drive expansion of business through retail analytics (regions with sales support)

  • Direct Order management activities (regions with Customer Service)

Strategic Direction

  • Manage strategies to drive agility and speed while protecting profitability

  • Assists Brand and Enterprise strategic projects and efforts

  • Drive tangible actions to improve business performance

Financial Ownership

  • Manages financial assets in regards to inventory investments

  • Manage Departmental budgets, develop goals reflecting continued improvement on speed, agility, quality and cost

Team Development

  • Building organizational talent, Coach and Develop team ensuring strong succession planning

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Commercial facing leaders and become a trusted partner within Management team


  • Shares responsibility with the regional Business Unit Leaders for achieving business unit goals relating to PBT, Revenue, Gross Margin, Sales and other common metrics

  • Directly responsible for inventory planning and service goals

  • Brand connection to Supply Chain Enterprise to achieve Strategies outlined in OGSTM.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years’ Supply Chain leadership with a proven track record of success

  • Experienced in the Apparel industry

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Travel by air and overnight, as required (30%).
