VF Corporation Material Handler - QC/Returns in Martinsville DC, Virginia
To support functions in both Quality and Returns areas. To load and unload cases to and from receiving, scan cases to QC bin, keep audit lines stocked, unload cases from audit lines and assist with keeping work area clean. To receive and log all returns, stage returns by RAs’(Return Authorizations) in designated areas. Receive and log all refusals and reversals. Maintain correct processing order of all returns. Load and cut open cartons on lines to be processed. Unload conveyors and palletize all completed cartons. Keep processors supplied with all corrugated and other needed supplies. Send built pallets to reserve. Load and unload trailers going to and coming from offsite locations.
To follow at all times, company safety rules, ergonomics procedures and Quality/Returns department guidelines. To be retrained in these areas when the requirements have been modified or updated. To be cross-trained and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Regular Work Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm, Required to work overtime as needed, required to wear approved safety shoes.

Pushing cartons on gravity conveyor lines
Stacking cartons onto pallets
Removing cartons from vertical lift
Removing pallets from P lift
Lifting and Bending with cartons that can weigh up to 45 lbs.
Using hand truck and pallet jack
Cutting boxes with utility knife
Operating Walkie Rider – requires certification
