VF Corporation Visual Merchandiser Italy The North Face Temporary in Milano, Italy
The Field Visual Merchandiser is responsible for executing the Visual Merchandising
presentations in the The North Face Stores, Partnership and Shop in Shop.
The main working area will be Italy, however occasional international travel may also be required.
The Field Visual Merchandiser needs to work closely with the Head Office, District Managers, Store Managers and Store Teams to ensure that in-store initiatives are executed according to the brand expectations, and needs to provide support for any VM support the stores may have.
Implementation and execution of Visual Merchandising strategies and standards in relation to the guidelines from HQ
Ability to interpret HQ guidelines and adapt based on local market knowledge whilst maintaining consistency with global vision and objectives
Coordinate in-store projects with HQ delivering results to key stakeholders (internal and external)
Ensure that the execution meets quality and timelines
Training and coaching store teams in all aspects of Visual Merchandising: seasonal guidelines. store layout and fixture usage, and visual presentation.
Working with both HQ and District Managers to provide reports and feedback on store performance/standards
Commercial analysis of product performance reports to maximize sales opportunities
Marketing or Visual Merchandising Degree; Bachelor level
2 years of Experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in the sport apparel industry
Passion for Outdoor & Action Sports
Language skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Excellent presentation skills, showing confidence to retailers, buyers and sales teams
Experience in working in multicultural teams
Willing to travel frequently
Enthusiastic, pro-active / single-minded person, can handle stress and take initiatives
Excellent ability to work with tight deadlines and deliver on budget
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
