You will be replacing the Marketing Manager for Germany & Austria. The Marketing Coordinator for Germany & Austria will be responsible for translating centrally-devised Brand and Marketing Strategies into localised activations that reinforces Brand equity, communicates key messages and stories, and supports the Go to Market plan of the local Sales teams. You will work closely with the Marketing Operations Manager for Europe to execute the above via a mix of PR, Advertising and consumer-facing activations. You will support the local sales teams of both regions to set Retailer plans that deliver against sales targets, and with the local VM teams to ensure that we translate the same messages and plans onto the shop floor or retailer ecommerce sites.
Support the Marketing Operations Manager in briefing, managing and measuring the local PR agencies, to ensure stories and told in line with Brand values and equity; to make sure agencies deliver against targets, and that press and influencers are calling on Eastpak as their preferred brand of choice;
Help Drive and execute all Trade marketing activities for Eastpak across the GA region, with a focus on retailer initiatives to drive performance, and in line with local GTM plans;
Ensure close cooperation with the local sales managers, teams and agents in the regions, in order to give clear and effective marketing to support retailer sell-through;
Creation of the centrally supplied POS material for all stores and for key accounts.
Organization and follow-up the production and delivery of seasonal and long life POS material.
You coordinate the delivery of store concept POS for new store openings of Retail, Partner and SIS
Work with VM team to deliver against their specific in-store goals; to maximise opportunities with Windows and POS support, and to create a consistent brand message across all retail touchpoints;
Analyse results and provide fully comprehensive reports of Eastpak Marketing activities
Keep contral of local Budgets on all activities.
Update the Retail Marketing Calendar and align it to the partner stores, Key Accounts and E-com calendars.
Marketing Degree; Bachelor or Master level
Minimum of 3-5 years of Marketing experience
Preferred experience in the apparel/footwear sports/outdoor/lifestyle markets
Strong knowledge of the German & Austrian retail environment is preferred
Experience in digital marketing and – advertising
Experience in creating marketing plans with wholesale & retail accounts. Both online & offiline
Language skills: English & Germany mandatory, Dutch would be a plus
Excellent writing and communication skills
Experience in working in multicultural teams
Enthusiastic, pro-active person who can handle stress and take initiatives
Excellent ability to work with tight deadlines and small budgets. Always deliver on time and on budget
Strong teamwork/team player skills
