VF Corporation Associate Marketing Manager in Nashville, Tennessee
Develop, and execute marketing initiatives and communication strategies to drive sales while strengthening brand recognition. Analyze and report on marketing programs and tactics, continuing to find ways to optimize planning and improve on execution. Present plans to broader audiences in and outside of the business.
Assist in developing the market strategy for both direct and in-direct channels which includes on-going competitive analysis, industry research, effective go-to-market strategies, brand positioning, product requirements, channel and sales support plans.
Support the merchandising team with market strategy/analysis while assisting in competitive product analysis and the identification of market trends/gaps, etc. Provide input and consumer perspective during product development process.
Support sales team & key distributors through development of customized sales tools and collateral
Execute the annual marketing plan to generate demand for our brand and products as well as qualified leads for the Sales team.
Assist in developing digital marketing campaigns, utilizing website content, SEO/SEM, email management, social media and online advertising.
Execute the market communication strategy by ensuring effective and cohesive brand or account imagery, supported by packaging, POS material, trade shows, advertising, web-sites, catalogs, etc.
Coordinate the measurement of promotional material and advertising as well as conducting on-going consumer research to validate strategies.
Manage and deliver assigned budgets
Bachelor Degree required or equivalent experience in Marketing or a related field
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in product or related marketing or agency experience
Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent grasp of social media and website metrics and best practices
Experience in managing and measuring digital marketing efforts including email marketing, lead generation and SEO a plus
Ability to comprehend and disseminate relevant industry information and apply to overall marketing strategies
Ability to work with technical information and communicate to a non-technical audience
Proactive nature and enthusiasm to support vision for marketing efforts within VF workwear
Ability to operate with multiple business units and across functional groups within the organization
