Creates and maintains all product level data for the lifecycle of the garment from product set up to deletion from the product line
Maintains flow of product requests for cost and development as specified; maintains product calendars
Maintains all relevant data in the appropriate tracking system
Effectively communicates all product level information to all internal stakeholders; fosters and maintains relationships and communication flow
Gathers and analyzes product line performance, customer, trend, and competitive data to make product line recommendations
Gathers and prepares presentation materials for customer and / or internal meetings, to include samples, reports, etc.
Executes specific projects as assigned, according to the agreed upon timeline
Preferred Years of Related Professional Experience: 2+
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising
Self-motivated, can accomplish objectives without close supervision
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, internal systems, calendars)
Strong communication skills (oral, presentation, written, interpersonal)
Accuracy: attention to detail, strong organizational skills, with strong sense of urgency
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, respond effectively to multiple demands, and balance / prioritize competing needs to meet objectives and deadlines
Knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, fabric and garment care is preferred
Seeks direction, responds positively and readily adapts to change in the work environment; changes behavior in response to feedback and learns from experience
Understanding of basic business terminology such as margin, markup, turnover, and yield
Travel is required, amount varies
