Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the seasonal product line plan by tracking all changes generated through the product creation process. Provide sample merchandising and tracking support for the team.

  1. Act as gatekeeper of incoming and outgoing samples (e.g. proto, fit, photo shoot, milestone meeting, salesman). Organize and archive samples as needed on a seasonal basis. % of Time Involved: 25%; Relative Importance: 4-High

  2. Create and maintain detailed and accurate product line information based on current systems. % of Time Involved: 25%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

  3. Ensure meeting / presentation rooms are continuously merchandised and updated with current product. % of Time Involved: 20%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

  4. Assist in measuring incoming fit samples as need. % of Time Involved: 10%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

  5. Track and ensure on-time delivery of all salesman samples in accordance with critical deadlines and in understanding multiple factory timelines. % of Time Involved: 10%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

  6. Generate and distribute reports % of Time Involved: 5%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

  7. Enter supply orders and process invoices and debit notes upon receipt.% of Time Involved: 5%; Relative Importance: 3-Medium

Job Requirements:

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 2-4 years of administrative experience in apparel industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Adobe Illustrator knowledge a plus.

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Accuracy is a must.

  • Energetic and flexible suitable for a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple initiatives under tight timelines.

  • Ability to identify and address problems independently and professionally.
