Position Summary: In this position, you will be a key resource for evaluating and performing Financial Reporting and Analysis, Business Trend Analysis, Risk and Opportunity Assessment, Forecasting, Budgeting, and Long Range Strategic Planning for the Wholesale business. The role requires an understanding of corporate finance, a strong desire to learn about the business, and exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills to identify key business trends and influence strategic decisions. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to act as a business partner in delivering value-added analysis to our business partners and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and prepare the monthly forecasts, annual budget and annual strategic plan related to the revenue, margin and operating expenses of the Wholesale business by engaging with various business partners and the finance and accounting teams.

  1. Provide insightful revenue and expense reporting and analyses on a recurring and ad-hoc basis to understand monthly, quarterly and annual business performance to support senior management's strategic decisions.

  1. Develop reporting tools and create thoughtful, easy-to-follow presentations to effectively communicate results and ideas to key stakeholders.

  1. Drive accuracy, efficiency, and value added enhancements by streamlining, standardizing and automating processes and reporting requirements through cross functional collaboration and communication.

  1. Evaluate and identify business trends that will assist in calculating our financial risk and opportunity against the financial forecast and plans.

Job Requirements:

Years of Related Professional Experience:

5+ years of experience required.

Educational/Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or related field and combination of 5+ years’ relevant and progressive experience.

• Knowledge in corporate finance and experience in modeling business scenarios.

• Experience in a retail environment, with footwear/apparel business knowledge a plus.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

• Understanding of and experience with ERP and Data warehouse tools preferred (SAP, COGNOS, HFM/Hyperion, BPC)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills used to convey complex ideas and provide high level of customer service to business partners.

• Highly self-motivated team player with a work ethic based on a desire to exceed expectations and proactively builds collaborative partnerships.

• Ability to work independently with limited direction and supervision to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks; maintain flexibility and composure with competing and changing priorities.
