This role reports to the Regional Head of Finance - North America and provides finance administration support to the regional teams. This includes administration of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and other finance administration as assigned.
Stuff you’ll have up your sleeve:
Relevant Finance/Accounting tertiary qualification
Equivalent of 2 years’ experience in a similar Finance administration role
Great excel skills and experience with using accounting software
Things you know how to do:
Accurately process Accounts Payables & Receivables
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
Prepare routine sales (and other) tax returns
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Be prepared to get in amongst it and provide general financial administrative support as needed
In addition you pride yourself on the following:
Providing outstanding customer service
Building exceptional relationships with colleagues and suppliers
Managing your time well and have exceptional prioritising skills that enable you to deliver to strict deadlines
Communicating well beyond that of a traditional bean counter – you can explain financial principles to people with no accounting background and enable them to walk away feeling like you’ve enlightened them
