VF Corporation Director – Distribution Engineering EMEA in Belgium
Provides strategic planning, resource allocation, operational execution, organizational management, project implementation, and financial responsibility for Distribution Engineering in EMEA.
Advise and collaborate with stakeholders to obtain the best Distribution Engineering solutions for the different Distribution Centres in EMEA.
Ensure resources are provided to support Distribution Engineering projects and activities to include labor, warehouse management system, equipment, and facilities.
Identify critical strategic and operational issues and collect, analyse, and interpret data to make fact-based decisions and actions.
Recommend and execute improvement initiatives.
Monitor cost, cycle time, and accuracy performance of Engineering projects and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with VF policies and local regulations.
Develop and execute strategic Engineering initiatives to include the integration of new brands, relocation of existing brands, and the rationalization of facilities which may initiate the construction or exit of DC facilities.
Education: BA or BS in Engineering or Business
Experience: 10-15 years in Distribution Engineering with significant exposure to the apparel/footwear industry
Language skills: English required.
