VF Corporation Digital Director Napapijri in Switzerland
The main goal is to market and achieve profitable growth, exploiting synergies across owned and multiple 3rd party digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced online retailer to define and lead the future digital sales strategy for Napapijri and executing a clear cross channel digital strategy putting our online shop at the heart of the brand.
As Digital Commerce Director, you will work with Digital Key Accounts including Zalando, Yoox, Asos, Amazon , and our own digital platform, to drive growth and deliver a best-in-class experience for our consumers.
You will need to negotiate at the highest levels with our Digital Key Accounts to develop a dominant sales position and accelerate revenue growth. You will build a pipeline of digital sales opportunities, negotiating initiatives that will drive volume, market share growth and profitability. You will have the analytical expertise to plan and measure success.
Develop a Where to play/How to win strategy for the digital space
Develop a digital OGSTM, working with key brand and corporate stakeholders in defining the role of digital in the overall brand strategy
Keep up-to-date on emerging opportunities within the digital landscape, benefitting from external resources as well as internal cross brand teams, looking towards the strategic future in delighting our consumers
Manage each channel’s opportunity’s in order to complement rather than compete for market share, driving incremental revenue.
Develop a successful trading calendar in line with the digital strategy to ensure all DTC and wholesale campaigns are aligned with market trends. This will be recognised through the delivery of like for like sales and weekly margin targets that reflect key seasonality and events
Work with the teams, including Retail & Concession, Wholesale, Merchandising and Marketing, to introduce product development direction to ensure the delivery of future retail responsive collections and product flow to reach commercial sales
Work with the eCommerce and product development team for online and Napapijri mono-brand exclusive programs to create a USP and give sales peaks at key trading moments
Create tactical activity and development at Country level, based on the digital strategy, to maximise local expectations, shopping experience, and long term brand strategy

Drive commercial agreement negotiations for all digital accounts to maximize return
Work with key partners and DTC B&M teams to optimize operational process, inventory management and product curation.
Provide roadmap and drive implementation of Napapijri ecommerce for distributor channel
Take overall ownership of the P&L and sales targets for both eCommerce and Wholesale Digital Key Accounts
Guide all key departments in producing accurate financial data, forecast sales, and margins for both channels
Partner with retail B&M departments to support the ‘buy’ and match sales plans
Optimise DTC functionality and improve customer focus
Optimise online customer experience and usability to build a seamless shopping environment for all device categories
Collaborate with internal IT and marketing departments, design agencies and implementation partners on architecture and back end solutions for enhanced site functionalities
Own the digital customisation projects working globally with Distributor team
Strengthen collaboration with other departments
Integrate activities of marketing, online, sales and advertising to develop multichannel strategies and increase brand and product awareness
Connect with and influence teams across the VF matrix to successfully deliver projects and business results
Work closely with other brand eCommerce and strategy leads to define VF EMEA’s digital roadmap and globalisation.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.
Education: BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Merchandising or related fields
Experience: 7+ years experience. At least 4 years experience as similar role.
Language Skills: Fluent in English. Other languages will be a plus
Advanced computer skills required

Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them
Strong team building skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
