Located in Stabio, Canton Ticino and close to the Italian border our International Headquarters are easily accessible from Milan Malpensa airport as well as being only a short distance away from the beautiful mountainous regions of Lake Como and Lugano.

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Account Manager to join our strategic accounts team for Timberland.

You will be responsible for the performance of Timberland within one of our largest Pan European wholesale accounts by delivering sustainable and long term growth through the effective implementation of the brands strategic objectives and goals.

Success in the role will come through constant collaboration with all internal business units: Sales, Operations, Merchandising and Marketing combined with a strong desire to maximise all commercial opportunities through world class key account management.

To achieve this, you will:

  • Plan seasonal and annual sales budgets and maintain the monthly sales forecasting in line with agreed targets - with a strong focus on ‘Gross to Net’ management

  • Build and execute against account specific Go to Market plans, aligned with the wider brand and business objectives

  • Create, review and present (in collaboration with KA Merchandising Manager), consumer right assortment plans on a seasonal basis using sound analysis, market-driven data and channel-relevant buying trends

  • Own and develop both internal and account-based reporting tools to maximise commercial opportunities and at the same time limit Timberland’s risk and exposure within the account

  • Manage all operational and commercial aspects of the accounts business within the parameters of Timberland’s ‘Service Model Framework’

  • Establish and maintain a strong strategic relationship with internal and external/account stakeholders

  • Collect, enter and maintain pre-book and in-season sales orders

  • Provide concise and regular performance feedback to the wider business

  • You are fluent in verbal and written English

  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • You have a minimum of 5 years (European Level) key account management within sports/lifestyle brands or FMCG

  • You can demonstrate proven track record in creating strong internal and external working relationships

  • You are an analytical and strategic thinker

  • You have high energy and are performance driven

It will also be useful if: You are educated to a degree level or equivalent, preferably in a Business related subject
