VF Corporation Marketing Intern VANS in United Kingdom
This entry level position is aimed at developing hands on experience across all channels of Brand activation, including Wholesale Marketing, Events, PR and Brand Communication.
Reporting directly to the UK Marketing Manager, you will support and coordinate strategic development and activation of all marketing initiatives, from concept development through execution.
Working with Key Retail Partners, PR and Media Agencies, Sponsored Athletes, Creative Agencies and Sales Teams, this role provides visibility into all areas of the Vans business, all with the goal of ensuring best in class marketing iniatives that position Vans as the market leader in both Core and Lifestyle channels.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Distribution of marketing assets in line with key product launches
Management of product for Team Athletes
Planning and coordinating Brand Events alongside the UK Marketing Manager
Liasing with external suppliers and creative teams to coordinate the production and implementation of marketing materials
Briefing internal and external teams on project deliverables
Coordinating invoicing and budgeting
You will be an energetic, creative and driven candidate with a view to becoming a Marketing professional within a lifestyle brand. This role will suit a Marketing post graduate, keen to build on their existing portfolio to develop commercial skills towards becoming a Marketing Coordinator.
A detailed understanding of the Vans brand, it’s core values and business challenges are essential to success in the role.
You will be an excellent communicator, confident, with a can-do attitude and an ability to learn quickly. You will speak English to a high standard. A strong understanding of the actionsports industry, preferable skate, is important, alongside a keen eye for Lifestyle fashion and the media surrounding it.
