We are looking for a driven and dynamic Trainer to provide training and support across VF’s Credit functions.

To achieve this, the Trainer will:

  • Ensure that all new Credit Controllers undergo a standardised induction programme and tailor to individual needs to support maximum learning during this initial training phase.

  • Identify strengths and further development needs for all new starters which is then communicated to the relevant Credit Team Leader upon hand-over.

  • Work with Team Leaders to identify skill gaps for existing controllers and provide adequate training.

  • Make sure that all training manuals and materials are up-to-date and accessible to all members of the department.

  • Provide soft Skills training

  • Suggest external training courses and attend them where applicable; then develop ad-hoc training sessions to ensure knowledge is shared.

  • Coordinate HR training with the Human Resources Team.

  • Ensure policy is being adhered to. Highlight and address failures at both Credit Controller and Team Leader level. Discuss findings with the relevant line manager, ensuring sufficient training is available to close the skill gaps.

  • Review Credit Management processes, procedures, and systems to ensure ‘best practice’.

  • Provide detailed analysis to Management in the form of monthly and quarterly reporting based on feedback received from attendees

  • Continuously look to improve the training journey

  • Any other ad hoc task relevant to the development of credit personnel as assigned by your manager.

To join us, you must have:

  • Experience in Teaching or Training

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written English

  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, SharePoint

  • Very good interpersonal skills
