VF Corporation Merchandise Manager in Hong Kong

Job Description


  • Responsible for costing and aligning product design, product development and commercializing product to maintain the best margin.

  • Provide cost saving options to achieve target prices.

  • Lead the Costing Team to improve the costing communication between regions.

  • Seasonal price negotiation.

  • Facilitate process and revisit existing SOP between Regions, Factories and Suppliers.

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of the cost reports, BOM analysis, margin report and costing audit.

  • Collaborate with internal & external partners to achieve high quality technical packs and the transparency of the cost sheets, as well as information is accurate for merchandising process use.

  • Support in Product Engineering.

  • Develop and maintain a Costing Library to collect up-to-date styles, materials, trims, vendors, suppliers etc. for the team's inspiration & tracking.

  • Maintain data base i.e. material library, BOM and Cost sheet in PLM accurately and timely

  • Flawless execution of restricted substance & Reach procedures from developing stage to bulk production.

  • Engage and support execution of assigned projects.

  • Frequently travel to China.
