This position is responsible for analyzing, managing, and executing purchase requisitions based on demand, forecast, and inventory plans for the footwear business. Works with cross functional teams to ensure on time deliveries and maintains proper inventory mix and helps to dispose of excess inventory.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Develop capacity constrained supply requirements for vendors that support other areas. Work closely with Customer Service, Distribution, Sourcing and Logistics on basis to ensure on time shipments to customers. Troubleshooting supply actual vs requested as needed. Responsible for overall inventory levels for assigned product group and maintaining updating the system integrity (demand and supply data). Analyze current and historical trends to make forecast recommendations to a cross functional team of Finance, Sales, and Merchandising to support the financial goals along with securing appropriate production capacity. Prepare financial shipping and inventory projection reports.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: +4 years of supply Chain experience is required.
Educational/ Position Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
Excellent communication skills. Fluent English required.
Ability to coordinate and communicate between cross-functional departments worldwide.
High customer focus with an ability to drive for results.
Ability to understand, assess, and problem solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills.
Proficient PC skills: SAP, Advanced Excel and Office are a must.
Strong time management skills
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
International travel- 10% of the time.
Willing and able to work additional hours when needed
