We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our NZAU Regional Marketing team reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager based at our Ponsonby location in Auckland, New Zealand. This is a hands-on role that demands a lot more that the standard graphic design role.

You will responsible for localising globally created assets and creating local assets specific to this region. You will create great consumer experiences across multiple channels (Wholesale, Retail and eCom), by designing and producing impactful marketing and product collateral that is on-brand, and gets customers to purchase Icebreaker. A high degree of creative flair is a must for this role. A passion for customers who and what they do is a must. We have a great coffee machine that you may need to get the creative juices flowing.

This is a one year fixed maternity contract.

Who you are:

  • A successful track record as a Graphic Designer in a design agency, retail company or product related company

  • Strong print production knowledge

  • Expert in the latest Adobe CS and any related software

  • Expert file preparation skills

  • Excellent proofing skills, strong attention to detail and proven self-checking processes

  • Great time management and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and incorporate accuracy into process at all times

  • Excellent communication and record-keeping skills

  • Good understanding of the briefing, creative design and print production process

  • Knows how to create and maintain strong branding and consistency in a complex market
