VF Corporation The North Face - Senior Fabric Merchandiser (Taiwan) in Taiwan
Key Purpose of the Job:
Co-ordinate among suppliers, vendors and Vans Fabric/Trims team.
Key Area of Responsibility:
Work with mills to achieve the best delivery schedule with flexibility after each month buy placed
Work closely with Commercialization team to ensure the bulk production orders could be placed smoothly
Support to Garment Production team to manage fabric delivery issues in driving OTP targets
Distribute monthly forecast to mills and collect the feedback if any capacity/delivery constraint.
Monitor the color approval status (NPS and bulk lots) to ensure fabric delivery
Proactively identify any potential risks / issues/ delays and bring to the attention of Fabric Manager & related parties.
Collect fabric delivery reports to identify all delay reasons and action plans with mills
Monitor bulk fabric testing status to ensure quality standard in being fulfilled. Deal with mills in case of any failure in testing and make necessary alert to production team.
Manage quality issue with mills, Garment production and QA team in taking appropriate actions to mitigate production impacts
Work with mills on Compliance audit, PRIDE audit preparation status and CAP follow up
